Hanoi has changed an incredible amount over time. But beneath the hustle and bustle, there lies a slow and traditional way of Hanoi life.
It is my pleasure to show you the secrets and traditions from long ago. I consider myself to be a true Hanoian through and through, having lived in Hanoi for long years and counting. I would be honoured to show you a unique Ha Noi food experience through old houses, tiny alleys, food and stories of true Hanoian life.
A. Type 1: start tour from 3 way crossroads of Dinh Liet – end tour at Duong Thanh street
1. Banh Khuc at local food stall
2. North of salad
3. Explore local market and try Spring Roll/coconut poach/worm sausage/pork mix herb fried (depend on season) on street as local people
4. Green tea of North style on small alley
5. Go around with old quarter stories and try hidden Beef Pho (or Chicken Pho)
6. Train street and drink beer on Duong Thanh Street
B. Type 2: start tour at 33 Duong Thanh – end tour at Cau Go
1. Local Beer on beer street as local people to start a tour
